Our kitchens are all fitted with an induction hob & oven, Fridge/Freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, handblender, tea pot, cafetiere & washing machine*
Well equipped with quality pans, including large pot for cooking local shellfish, great range of ovenware & utensils, so you can happily prepare your own meals.

*pegs are supplied and there is a rotary drying line outside. We can dry washing for you if the weather doesn't permit outside drying
Living/Dining Room
Our Living Rooms are bright, westerly facing rooms, with patio windows taking advantage of the views and sunsets. 2 comfortable, Large 2 Seater Sofa's for relaxing and an oak table & chairs with padded seats for dining
For entertainment there is a 32" TV/DVD* with Freeview, HDMI & USB connection, a Music system with Radio/CD/Bluetooth and a selection of books and games

A sliding patio door gives access to the balcony with patio table, chairs & parasol
*please note, the TV is a not a SMART TV. You may bring your own 'streaming stick' or similar. We'd recommend downloading programmes prior to arrival as superfast broadband is not available at our location. Please see T&C's section 10
Hallway
In the hallway there is a shoe rack and a PIR light, which also doubles as an emergency light
Smoke Detector & Fire Extinguishers
In the hallway cupboard you'll find coat hooks, an iron & Ironing Board, a vacuum, a fan, 2 sun/star loungers and a small barrel BBQ which fits a disposable
Bathroom
Our bathrooms offer a choice of either a shower over a bath (Lodges 1, 2 & 4) or a walk in shower (no bath) (Lodges 3 & 5). The showers have great mains water pressure and there's plenty of hot water for a relaxing bath
There is a demisting mirror with shaver socket and a heated towel rail
Our bamboo towels have excellent drying and naturally antibacterial properties (no smelly towels!)
Bedrooms
Each Lodge has 2 Bedrooms which are set up as a Large King bed (180cm W x 190cm L) & a Twin, with 2 standard single beds (90cm W x 190cm L)*
Deep, comfortable tufted, natural fabric mattresses are topped with Dreamland Intelliheat electric blankets (cosy in 5 minutes). Perfect for keeping warm or soothing achey muscles (dual control for the Large King Bed). Each guest has 2 differing sized, anti allergen pillows. Luxury wool duvets are fitted with eqyptian cotton duvet sets and black out curtains all lend themselves to the restful sleep that so many of our guests comment on!
Without street lights and passing traffic, it gets very dark, so bedside Touch Lamps are provided for your convenience.
Plenty of storage allows you to fully unpack, into a wardrobe and a chest of drawers and there is a full length mirror in each bedroom and 1 hairdryer in the Lodge.
Each bedroom is fitted with a roller midge/insect blind
*for an additional fee the twin room can be made up as a Large King. Add as an extra during booking
Garden/Grounds
The Lodges are well spaced over 2.5 acres of ground, mature bushes and trees lend privacy to the Guests and create habitat for all manner of birds, mammals, amphibians, invertebrates and insects. There is no physical fencing between Lodges
Watch out for Red Deer, Rabbits, Voles, White Tailed Eagles, Sparrowhawks, Pine Marten (if you're lucky!), Gold Crests, Wrens, Tree Creepers, Woodpeckers, Rock Doves to name just a few! We have even spotted Cross Bills
Each Lodge garden area, has a picnic table and you will find a bird feeder which will have been filled with a high quality seed, for your arrival. Inside the Lodge you will find a complementary refill. You may purchase more bird feed at our cost price.
Each Lodge has an area of lawn for you to use and there are areas that are left to grow 'wild' through the season, no poisons are ever used and we cut our lawn area's on a high cut. These actions encourage a variety of wild flowers and plants to flourish. We love the lawns with all the wild flowers and so do the bees, butterflies, moths and insects!
Watch out for Orchids (Spotted heath, Northern Marsh & Lesser Butterfly). Use a plant identifier app to while away some relaxing time in the garden or carry out some citizen recording of butterflies, birds or insects
Bird & Plant books are provided in your Lodge too :0)
Travelling with Children
Children and babies welcome. Children to age 16 go free :0)
Highchairs available for free, we'll also pop in a few bits and bobs for our wee guests. Such as a step & toilet seat insert
We do not provide cots
Baby Gates are available for Lodge 1 & 5 balcony's, as these Lodges have steps down into the gardens

Housekeeping Starter Pack
The following items are provided for your convenience:
Virgin Olive Oil, Black Peppercorns, Sea Salt, Flash cleaning liquid, Disinfectant, Fairy Washing up Liquid, Hand Soap, 2 x washable cleaning cloths & a washable sponge, metal scourer, dishwasher tablets, tin foil, enough non bio laundry powder for about 4 washes, 1 double length Toilet Roll, bird seed
Towels & Linen
The beds are made up for you and the following towels are provided:
Tea towels, 1 bathmat per Lodge, 1 bath towel per Guest & 1-2 hand towels depending on group size/length of stay.
Additional towels may be purchased for use during stay
For stays of longer than 1 week a change of linen and towels is provided
